    Sound

    Suddenly my sound has turned into a growl
    playing a video .... playing a vid on you tube
    the sound is kind of robotic, I can still make out the
    conversation but it s not right

    anything I can do about it ?

    just restarted my comp and this seems to have cured the prob

    but why should it have happened in the first place ?

    about a week ago the sound went completely and a restart cured that
    thats two sound probs in the space of a week !

    Once it a blue moon, something in the ram gets scrambled, why your guess is as good as mine as to why.

    May a time over the years, I just shutdown completely, wait 30 seconds and boot back up and the problem is gone.
    Learned that in 98 and it still works today for me.
