    Hi guys,
The bluetooth adapter CSR 4.0 is flashing blue. It appears on DEVICES AND PRINTERS but when I try to add the device, it stays searching forever and nothing happens! The Bluetooth device is discoverable. The computer is set to "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer", "Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer" and "Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect". Also, on SERVICES the Bluetooth Support Service is set to AUTOMATIC. If go there from msconfig, the Bluetooth Support Service is RUNNING.
I think the dongle automatically installed all drivers, but, anyway, I installed the bluetooth driver from Intel.
I tried to make screenshots of Device Manager and Programs and Features, but the Snipping Toll does not allow me to send you, saying that it exceeds my quota.

It sounds like the drivers have been installed. What Bluetooth device are you trying to connect to your computer? If you have another computer or Bluetooth device, see if it can "see" the Bluetooth on the problem computer.

If you go to your profile here on VDr, you should be able to Manage your Attachments, and delete some of the old ones you no longer need, which should get rid of the Exceeds Quota message.

Sorry guys for the delay! I had to deal with hurricane Irma, here, in Florida, I`ve been evacuated for almost 1 week and I lost the power and internet.
The Bluetooth device I`m trying to connect to my computer is a EAR one and It works perfectly with my phone. Also, I tried to connect to the computer a Bose HEAD one and nothing happened and works good with my phone!
Definitely, the problem is on my computer.

If you get an opportunity to try a USB Bluetooth adapter, that might correct the issue. You may want to disable the current Bluetooth hardware first before trying that.

Hope you did not have too much storm damage.

Do you have a Bluetooth icon in the System Tray / Notification Area? If not, the link below shows how to get it back:

    https://www.google.com/search?source....0.1FONyveJh1A

Did you install the drivers for the CSR 8510 A10 USB Bluetooth adapter?

    Possibly useful links:

Once you have the Bluetooth working and a System Tray icon, what happens when you try to search for Bluetooth devices from the computer?

I do have the Bluetooth icon in the System Tray.

I did install the drivers for the CSR B510 A10 USB Bluetooth adapter from https://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/...510a10-driver- here-available.html

The computer is searching for devices indefinitely!!! (I left it searching for 1 hour and nothing happened.

If it searches for devices forever, then something is still wrong. It should eventually time out and say that no devices were found. The built-in Bluetooth hardware/software may be interfering with your USB Bluetooth adapter.

If you had another computer with working Bluetooth available, you might try a search on that computer to see what devices it sees. Your Bluetooth on the problem computer would need to be set to discoverable for this to work.

Or, you could use something like the app in the link below to see what it finds.

Do you think that the CSR B510 A10 USB Bluetooth adapter installation did install all drivers or perhaps any extra Bluetooth driver needs to be installed?

The USB Bluetooth adapter appears in your Devices, so I would think the drivers have been installed. The problem is that you can't really tell from Device Manager which Bluetooth device drivers are connected to which actual hardware device.

About the only other thing you can try is to remove the USB Bluetooth adapter, and then remove ALL Bluetooth drivers and devices from Devices and Printers and from Device Manager, then reboot and see if there are any Bluetooth remnants left. If there are, remove those also and reboot. Once you do not see any Bluetooth items, shut down and power off the computer, plug in the USB Bluetooth adapter, and power up the computer, and see what gets installed. Install the drivers for the USB Bluetooth adapter if they were not automatically installed, reboot, and see if you can detect any Bluetooth devices.

Removing the USB Bluetooth adapter, there are no Bluetooth drivers on Devices and Printers at all. Nether on Device Manager.
Where those drivers ( Intel (R)) Wireless Bluetooth (R) and Windows Driver Package - Broadcom Bluetooth from Programs and Features ) should be if they`re installed?

If there are no Bluetooth items, check the manual and make sure that you have the built-in Bluetooth radio turned off, then power off the computer and plug in the USB Bluetooth adapter and boot it up. See what happens.
