My Radeon HD 7700 graphics card has worked impeccably for a large number of months even under windows 10 with Powerdvd 16 but lately and AMD update has thrown the playback of Blueray dvd into a questionable area of concern . looking on line says my WHQL drivers are either 'non WHQL' or full .. says you can turn on or off .,. ??
My software for playback of BRay DVD Says the HD playback is 'not supported' .. yet it is the same graphics card port to connector to my HP2011 monitor.. I even took out the card and re-seated it and it still fails to comply.. regular DVD plays backfire, and Blueray 1080p /mpeg files also play back fine .. but not my store bought Blueray discs ..
I cannot get any response from AMD ..,,, and PowerDVD support has the same standard answer to upgrade to better HD card or to even upgrade to Powerdvd17 which I do not want to do in case it doesn't playback either . .I don't think I should have to buy an other graphics card because the image I currently have is top notch ...
see attached ..
thanks !
