Resolved [RESOLVED] My Print screen button doens't work anymore..

I used to use the print screen button on the keyboard of my laptop/ HP EliteBook 8730w (says -home key/prt sc) along with windows 10 v.1607 / os 14393 .. Lately for the past few months I have had to use the snip tools to cut and save any portion of a page I need..

My other windows 10 on my Office PC works great .. and this laptop used to work great too ..

have googled this problem and am having sparingly remarks about this ..

is it a registry fix ?

    thanks

Try this found on the page below.

Try pressing FN + Windows + Prt sc (Print Screen)

I use the snipping tool myself.
Have it to open when I use Ctrl+Alt+S

Ok got it fixed .. apparently one of the -previous /last windows 10 updates locked my pictures folders to read only.. I had to uncheck the read box and now the printscreen feature works once again ...

I would expect that to happen with updates then.
