Eject Flash Drive

When i select to safely eject my flash drive i don't get the message,Safe to eject now.
Where did it go ?

Hung up for some reason.

Open This pc , r-click and select eject
Have even had to shut-down the computer, waited a minute and remove the stick.

It was just one stick I had that that would happen with. After using gparted to remove all the non-standard partitioning off of it , that stopped.
