    Resolved [RESOLVED] TV and uBlock

    What ho one and all,

We have three desktop computers. Two are running XP Pro and Firefox 38 ESR; the other is W7 and FF38ESR. On all of them, I have uBlock Origin installed as a FF add-on.

Sometimes I want to watch something on Channel 4 catchup tv (UK) and on my computer, I always receive a 'We have detected you are running ad block software. Please turn it off' (or words to that effect.) If I disable uBlock on my computer (XP) I still receive the same message and cannot watch. On my wife's computer (XP) with uBlock off, it works and the same with W7.

Why would this be happening? How can I watch on my computer with uBlock off?

    Toodle pip and thanks,

    Rex

Just a heads-up. Went to Channel 4 and selected any tv program to run. When the ad block message appeared, hit the uBlock button, refreshed and hey presto, the tv program was up and running.

    Great! (and thanks)
