    File Question

I made a folder called File Folders under Windows C drive.
    Here i store Various files.
    I just updated a file.
    Then i went to C/Users/My Name/File Folders.
In that File the updated file was not there.
How can the 2 areas be different, they have the Exact Name ?

Did you try a Search for the updated file to see where Windows might have put it?

    Note:

    C:\File Folders

    is not the same as

    C:\Users\<UserName>\File Folders

As jdc2000 said, those are two different folders. It doesn't matter if the folders have the same name; their paths are different.

No, they are two completely different folders, even though the folder name is the same. The paths are totally different.

If anything, you'd need to create a shortcut to the "File Folders" folder.

Also, it's back slash \ not forward slash / for Windows file and folder paths. / is for Linux/Unix.

To create a shortcut on the desktop to a folder, right-click on the folder and select Send To, Desktop (Create Shortcut).
