Word 2013/Win10: Weird stuff
This just started happening. I"m a teacher so I copy a lot from the internet. I copy paste to Word 2013 and it turns out "normal" type on the screen and printout.
Recently though, the type (letters) are converted to "http://" hyperlinks.
For example, I will copy paste the words,
Michael went to school today.
And it's converted to {"http://michael-went-to-school.com"}
Here's another example of what happens:
Trump says in his big immigration speech that the 11 million in the U.S. illegally are not a main issue.
Converted to this on the screen and paper: {HYPERLINK "http://www.latimes.com/politics......"} How can I submit a screen shot to show you?
Can someone tell me what the hell is happening? I can't print this scribble out on paper.
I am using Desktop Word 2013/Win 10.

We would probable have to have some sample web sites where this is happening to test.
Have you tried Paste Special and selecting either Formatted Text (RTF) or Unformatted Text to see what happens?
