    New Motherboard and m2 drive

I'm getting a new ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero AM4 AMD X370 Motherboard
    https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16813132963
It takes M2 drives, but I'm see drives 1 slot and others that have 2. Is there
a benefit of getting one over the other?

    Thanks

Best get the manual for each version and see what it says.
My question is - Is it/they bootable

And finally, ASUS has come out with a QVL! That was a good read too!
I think I'm going to go with,
    WD Black 512GB Performance SSD - 8 Gb/s M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive - WDS512G1X0C

There are a couple M2 sockets, be sure to get the right one.

    Now this maybe of interest:

Now if only PCIE SSD were that cheap. . . .

Pretty much have to follow the ASUS QVL or get bit.
    Been there.

Good luck and hope that setup does the trick for you.

My AMD 8150 was great, but as I do not do video any more, a dual core, refurbish laptop or desktop fills the bill. Moved to BETA testing like Win 10 and various Linux distos.
