not really sleep but when you don't move the mouse the laptop I have will darken into black screen have to move mouse to get back the screen ., now my problem is when I am downloading files and the screen goes black my wifi shuts off ( as in sleep mode) and I loose the internet . .there when I download I have to sit like a dummy and move the mouse every few minutes ..

in settings I am confused on exactly what to activate or not activate for my windows 10 ..

    thanks

    Go to Device Manager
    http://www.isunshare.com/windows-10/...indows-10.html

Under Network Adapters, right click on your wifi card and click Properties
On the Power Management tab, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power

If that still doesn't work, go to Control Panel > Power Options
Select your power plan, click Change Plan Settings, and choose Change advanced power settings
Under Wireless Adapter settings, choose Maximum performance
