Turning JPEG images into Vector Images
Hi, not sure if this is the correct forum--but here goes. I have some large JPEG images (11"x14" @300 DPI) that I would like to turn into vector images. I came across a website called Vector Magic and they take images and turn them into vectors. They charge 7.95 per month for this service. Not a big deal, as with the time I have spent cleaning up images would be worth it. My questions are;
1. Is there a better/cheaper company that can do this? and 2. Would these vector file sizes be bigger/smaller/same size as the JPEG files?
Thank you!
P.S. is there a website I can learn more about this topic?

The vector files should be a lot smaller. The work is in tracing the lines you want to make the vector image.
