Need Prod Key to ReInstall Win 10 Upgrade

Hi, I'm having problems with Win 10 & I want to do a reinstall. The system (Dell XPS m1530) was upgraded to Win 10 from Vista as part of the MS free upgrade program. The Vista install disks came with the system originally and they didn't have a Prod Key. Is there a way to get a Prod Key from my current system?

You don't. You just install Win10 and activate. The activation is saved in the MS database.

Update, November 2015: Microsoft has finally fixed this convoluted process, and you no longer need to upgrade a computer to Windows 10 before doing a clean install. If you’re installing the latest build of Windows 10, you can skip this step and follow the below instructions to do a clean install. When prompted for a key, enter your Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 key to activate Windows 10.

Vista was not eligible for the free Win10 upgrade. Are you sure you didn't upgrade from Win7?

Thanks for the info!! I must have upgraded from Win 7 as I did 3 PCs and probably lost track.
