Best Student Laptop Under 500
Hello all,
I am trying to find a laptop for my daughter. She is attending an online college and her old laptop needs to be replaced. I have searched all over for a laptop I can afford and I have found a few. All of them have the right software but they differ in memory, processor speed, and disk space. She will be using one drive so I guess disk space is not a priority but I could use some advice on which laptop is best for productivity programs from this list http://technemag.com/best-student-la...under-500-2017. Is there a difference in performance between AMD and Intel?

Just picked up a Refurbished Dell Latitude E6430 i5 2.6GHz 8GB 320GB DVD Windows 10 Pro 64 $217
Walmart Refurbished Laptop , Best Buy , newegg and many more carry them. Just a option that is available.
I was to cheap to spend $60 to 80 more for the i7 cpu.
$100 and I could get a 2 TB hdd for it and Clone to it. Or to really speed up booting and program opening, clone to one of these.

Hi JB,
You can google best laptop under $500 and get a number of sites offering recommendations. Here's on from PC Mag.

I'm thinking of the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series as it got decent ram, hard drive and screen size. I hope this helps.
