Thumbs down Ever wonder what data Facebook stores?

    On you?

Follow the instructions in that article, download the archive they've stored from your Facebook account and be prepared to be at least slightly shocked. I did it and am not pleased.. every single thing you've done on Facebook is there.. every like, comment, friend.. everything and more.
Fortunately I have an incognito Facebook ID so it's less of an issue for me but most people don't.

VirtualDr email notices are not working.

    ROF LOL !
Yes, it is interesting indeed. Of coarse downloading and unzipping a 600 MB file takes a while.

I apologize but I don't "do" Facebook. What's an incognito Facebook ID?

Just a fake name. I use facebook to read about events related to my work and need to log in to be able to see everything properly.

I thought it was some deep, dark secret.

No secret but FB does ask users to turn in others that they suspect of using false ID's.
I guess there aren't too many snitches because I know quite a number of people who
do this as well for obvious privacy/security reasons.

It is surprising the kind of stuff that some people put up. My brother recently showed
all of the planet a bill from the hospital to complain about something but exposed his
personal info like social sec number, address, health insurance number and other details
that could easily have been used for identity theft. He has nearly 3000 "friends" but only
really knows a fraction of them so any number of people saw it until I told him to take
    it down.

I have FB because my daughter and two grand kids have it.

My daughter puts her personal information on hers even though I know she knows better. Her real name and her address and telephone number; though, not any of her real personal info like SS# or bank numbers, etc, thank goodness for that anyway. Still all I can do is shake my head as she is well over 21 and should know better.

And she has friends she doesn't even know who they are except for their FB name.
