    Train -

Have you tried making a bootable disc or flash drive? The download is only 9 MB, which seems too small to be useful unless that is only a downloader program.

That small file when you open it give you option of USB or cd/dvd.
I selected cd, be sure the cd is in the tray, and it downloaded 324 MB and burned it.
When finished I selected the USB, yes it formatted the stick, and it was made.
Rebooted to USB , takes a bit, even with 8 cpu cores and 8 GB of ram plus using USB 3.
    Just following the prompts.
    Updated real quickly.
Now started Smart scan. It will take a bunch of time, with 3 hdds, that is a given.

Thanks, Train. I thought it would do something like that.

Once finished, remember this is a Linux based tool, bottom left Icon when clicked, will show the log off/shutdown options.

Important note with users running Windows 10.

    * ESET SysRescue has been tested with Windows 10 but is not officially supported. It should work in most cases, but you may experience some unreported issues with your system.*
