[RESOLVED] BOOTVID.DLL - Driver_Irql_not_less_or_equal
Hi All!
I hope soemone can help me with this one:
After installing the new drivers found on MS update-site for W2K (i did, allthough strongly discouraged) Windows won't start anymore, not even safe-mode. I get the blue stop-screen saying: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in BOOTVID.DLL.
The only thing i can find on the MS-site is that it's got something to do with drivers referring to wrong memory-addresses, meaning wrong drivers installed. But how to solve this? And since my registry is full of settings a fresh new installation is the last option...
Any help appreciated!
Thanx in advance,
Greetinx,
Marco ( marco.de.zeeuw@planet.nl )
