    new java update claims it does not support google chrome

    should I be worried or concerned ??. .I prefer chrome over IE11 (edge) as a lot of my installed programs don't support IE either .. ( i.e. Dashlane)

    You have it backwards. Google Chrome dropped support for Java and other NPAPI plugins as of Chrome 45. That was released over a year ago (9/2015).

    Do you actually use the Java plugin or not? I'm guessing no if you didn't notice by now.
