    Sticky ThinkPad

Happy New Year one and all,

I have a couple of ageing IBM ThinkPads, which still do what I want, so have no intention of discarding.

However, the surface was designed with a 'rubberised' soft finish and this is now very sticky.

Is there any way to remove this bloody awful surface or the reduce the tackiness?

    Thanks

    Rex

90+% isopropyl alcohol should do the trick and lots of scrubbing.
