    Partitioning problems

I use Easeus Partition Master, and it's usually very simple. Today I'm having problems, although I've partitioned all my computers. But I haven't done it in a long time

I'm trying to make C-System+Programs a few GB bigger and D-Data smaller.

When I try to make D smaller, the extra space moves into unallocated space, and I want it in C.
C refuses to get bigger altogether.

I know it's an old system, but just ignore that. I use it mostly for backing up the other one.

The Resize of the D: partition is the correct first step. After that, you need to move the Unallocated space.

    Possibly useful link:

You have to shrink the D: partition first. Then move D: to the end of the disk. Then you can expand C:

Many thanks. I love this place.
I've never moved a partition for some reason.

Didn't know they had their own forum, and didn't want to join another forum either, as I have one for each of about 20 pieces of software. Forums have replaced a really thorough Help file with regular updates. Grrrrrrrrr....
