Some apps cannot be deleted on this computer
I have two the exact laptops with Windows 10 on them. I have some apps I am trying to uninstall. They are: Alarms & Clocks, Groove Music, Maps, Movies & TV, Phone, Photos, Weather. I actually on one laptop get rid of them with CCleaner but on the other one they disappear from CCleaner's menu but when I open up the same menu under Tools they then come back. Why can't we delete them or how can we delete them or uninstall them? Both have Win 10 Pro on them.
Note: My questions may be to help others
Thanks, JB

Microsoft doesn't really want you to uninstall its apps, so the standard method does not work. However, there is a way to get rid of some of their garbage:

Nope, didn't work. I have four Powershells on this computer. Some say X86 and some say ISE and ISE (x86). I did all of them separately trying to just get this one app to uninstall called Alarms and Clocks. I used what it said on the website which is:
Get-AppxPackage *windowsalarms* | Remove-AppxPackage
It is still in All Apps and in CCleaner's programs list. So didn't work.

There are more variations of the commands you can try at this link:

Tried the Powershell Admin from that website and here's the message I got on Photos but I also got this message on all of them:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remove-AppxPackage : Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073CF1, Package was not found.
Windows cannot remove Microsoft.Windows.Photos_15.610.18180.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe because the current user does not
have that package installed. Use Get-AppxPackage to see the list of packages installed.
NOTE: For additional information, look for [ActivityId] c738c41b-5660-0001-49cb-38c76056d201 in the Event Log or use
the command line Get-AppxLog -ActivityID c738c41b-5660-0001-49cb-38c76056d201
At line:1 char:1
+ Remove-AppxPackage -Confirm -Package Microsoft.Windows.Photos_15.610. ...

Now it says Package not found but all these apps still show up in All Apps and also listed in CCleaner>>Tools as still being on the computer. The apps don't open though. You click on them and they just blink and never show up. The only that shows up is Windows Feedback and wants me to sign in. I guess I will read some more.

It's funny that I have two Windows 10 computers with probably the same version of Win 10 and one I can right click and hit uninstall and they go away except for Insider Hub and the other one they will not be uninstalled no matter what I have done so far. I did everything they said to do with the Powershell Admin and nothing gets uninstalled. I don't like this Windows 10 much.
