Resolved [RESOLVED] netflicks downlaods to smartphone space required ?

This past week Netflix has made it possible for you to down load i nHD a full movie to your smartphone or Ipad.,
my Iphone 5s had I believe about 3 GB available I downloaded a movie to test . .that made my available down to 2.4 GB .. whenever I went into my Netflix settings the icon had short cut to play ..

then I removed the movie within Netflix .. My iPhone still reports 2.4 available and the movie is no longer available to playback ..

questions : Where is /was the movie stored and how to restore the iPhone storage back to 3GB ??

running some intensive back checking right now and the results are: downloaded a movie ( love of Spock)., turned on airplane mode- no connection to internet no email etc .. movie still works (and only after the full download to phone) my settings/general /about - no videos listed /available storage - went from 2.71 gb* down to 2.32 gb ., I then deleted and removed the download from the stored netflicks ap while 'still in airplane mode' .. checked the settings again and saw it back to 2.71 gb .. The download was never in camera roll ( and for good reason) .. but was stored somewhere else (?) . .& that was the basis of my first question and can only be answered between Apple and net flicks themselves .. as this "new arrangement" is a secret not to be revealed or allowed... and "we in return" get to store and play back movies when no wifi is available ..

    * I'm sure I saw 3 GB last week before I took videos and photos on the weekend.. so I cleaned out my camera roll and videos to near zero and then refreshed to 2.71 GB
