I'm not sure all the ad issues can be turned off.

If you read the criticism link I posted from Wikipedia, Torch can be bundled with all kinds of ad problems (change the user's browser homepage to a page with ads, change the user's default search engine, prevent the user from changing their homepage and default search engine, collect and upload data about the user's internet browsing behavior, add toolbars to the user's browsers, inject advertisements into websites that are visited by the user.)

The Wikipedia article says that Torch claims that these "extras" can be disabled during the install process. Maybe so but sometimes the opt-out choices are well disguised in programs like this.

Bottom line is that if you can't solve your ad problems, you may have to go with another browser. And, if the Torch install brought some other bad ad related programs with it, you'd have to uninstall them too.

Torch is based on Chromium. But it should be kept in mind that Chromium is not a browser for the masses. It's essentially the basic building blocks for someone to take and turn into a full featured, ready for the masses browser. Chrome is based on Chromium. So is Vivaldi (as jdc200 notes.) My thought is I would move toward one of those. They won't run the risk of the pollution you've been dealing with...

As it is based on Chromium
    Impact

A remote attacker could possibly execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the process, cause a Denial of Service condition, obtain sensitive information, or bypass security restrictions.

If you are having problems with so many browsers, it's likely a problem with your system. Malwarebytes is a start, but Adaware is obsolete. Torch is sketchy, so I'd uninstall it. At this point, you may want to run your system through the ICU with Broni.

If you're afraid of Flash, did you disable it? Chromium-based browsers have Flash built-in.
Firefox doesn't, so you'd need to install it as a plugin.
