Hope against Hope - Toggling the Task Bar

This is more of an annoyance, but if anyone has a solution, I would be grateful.

I've set Win 10 so that when I have multiple instances of my Browser open, they each show up on the Taskbar. The problem is, Win-10 tends to toggle between them. I can keep clicking on ONE given instance of the Browser and it toggles through all of them. Consequently, it is hard to know which Browser Window you are moving to.

I would like it to select the specific Browser Window and have that Browser Window selected rather than toggling between them. Even if that Browser Window is the one that is already open.

    Any thoughts?

To some extent, I have shrugged my shoulders and accepted that Win-10 is going to do what Win-10 is going to do, but I've posted other annoying quirks that I had little hope of solving, but people have found solutions for me.

So, here is hoping against all hope that you can come through for me again.

Have you tried enabling the Lock the Taskbar setting? No guarantee that this will work, but it only takes a second to try it out and see.

If that does not work, you may have to use a third party utility to get the Taskbar to work the way you want.

One or more of StarDock's utilities might also work:
