And you know I trust you and all mods here. So it's not being targeted by malware more since it's been taking a larger share of the market. :-)

All web browsers and operating systems and other software programs are targeted by malware writers, some more than others. However, vulnerabilities are patched as they are discovered and reported to software vendors. Firefox is as safe as any web browser can be at the present time.

Anyone else having a problem with FF 56.02? Just about every day I get a message from many of my websites that
says this page didn't redirect correctly, server not found, with a clickable "try again".
. It happens here and on pch.com and on Pentaxforums.com.

I ran TFC and only had the problem one more time, so far it's behaving.

    What's FS?

My brother and a friend installed FF 57.02 and it screwed up some settings. I've not installed that one yet, and hope to not do so until the next update. The friend sent a report to FF explaining his predicament. So, hopefully Mozilla will respond and create a new update, screw ups free.

Since you didn't say which settings, it's hard to say if it's a actual problem with FF Quantum or legacy settings. If the problems has to do with XUL or legacy addons, they're out of luck.

It would be better if you started a separate thread, if you want someone here to troubleshoot it.

I believe some icons were missing in my friends FF, and my brother said his bookmarks icon was missing. I don't know if anything else was messed up. I know my brother only uses Ad Blocker Plus as an add on. I don't know how my friend has his FF setup.

Which bookmarks icon? If you mean in the Navigation bar, it was probably replaced with the "Library" button. You can still add a "Bookmarks Menu" button from "Customize".

I prefer uBlock Origin over Adblock Plus. Less memory usage and no "whitelisted" ads.

Again, please create a new thread if you want to continue troubleshooting. Thanks.
