New Cable Modem
My current modem is a DOCSIS 2.0. My ISP recently updated their system and was told that I need to update my modem to a DOCSIS 3.0 24 x 4 channel bonding cable mode (whatever that means). Can someone suggest a good reliable cable modem that fits those specs that last longer than the average modem?

Most ISP's will have a list of recommended modems on their website. Sometimes they will only accept a limited number of makes or models as well. Best to check before you buy anything.

Hi, JDC2000 and Fink. I have used different brands in the past (D-Link and Linksys to name a few). The rep said that they use ARRIS in the office. She said I just need to make sure the specs are DOCSIS 3.0 and 24 x 4 channel bonding cable modem. i would assume that ARRIS is a good brand that lasts longer than the average modem of other brands with the same specs? JDC2000, you posted a link of one of the ARRIS models. There are 2. What is the different between the 2 and would I need the model that you posted based on the specs that she said I needed?
