    I'm having the same sfc /scannow issues as well.. MY windows xp cd is sp2 AND I have downloaded and installed sp3 ...
    I have changed the source path to C: but it still can't find .. says to install or insert the CD disc with sp3 .. but my sp3 is probably within i386 ..

    Ideas for me ?

    As I mentioned in post #10, create a slipstreamed XP SP3 disc, and then use that for sfc.
