Microsoft to move to monthly patch rollups for Windows 7, 8.1 as of October 2016

This could be a problem if one of the rolled-up patches causes problems (like a BSOD) on your system.

or if there's a recently discovered security problem like a zero day exploit (Hey! what's a month or so when it's just your computer's or your own personal security at stake)...
According to today's post, as of October 2016 on, Windows will release a single Security-only update. This update will include only new security patches for each month, and individual patches will no longer be available.
VirtualDr email notices are not working.
Check back regularly for responses.

Except for 1 Win 10 Enterprise system either behind a hardware firewall or not internet connected, it will be Linux for me.
