    HP SCANJET G4050

    I bought an HP Scanjet G4050 but no install cd came with it.
    I downloaded from the HP site the driver and it installed but
    when I try to use it I get a message "no imaging device found.
    This software does not work. The scanner will work on VUESCAN
    software so I know the scanner works. When I went to the
    HP support site where I said add an HP device it could not find
    the scanner. How can I fix this and where can I get an HP
    install cd for this scanner. Is there a better site to get the
    proper driver?

    Post the link where you got the drivers. Can we assume that you have the G4050 connected to your computer using a USB cable?
