Router getting cut off
Hi,
From last week, while I try to connect my laptop from the other room, the wireless router cuts off. I have to then restart the router. I am getting connection when I am close to the router. What must be causing this?
The router/modem is Smart RG SR360n. (https://www.acanac.com/hardware/smar...?package=fibre) It was supplied by my ISP. I use DSL connection. The laptop is Dell Inspiron, Windows 8, core i 3 processor.
How can I troubleshoot this issue?
Thank you for your time.

Generally, I have found that to happen because of a drop in voltage, brown out, to the router and why I have my router and modem are plugged into a UPS [ uninterruptible power supply ].
It does not take much of a drop to lock up the router either so quits working.

In that case , let me check if it is the voltage issue.
Also, thanks for the link ecross. I have to check that too.
