    Webroot security program

I have been using avast anti-virus freeware program but a friend gave me Webroot IS program so I thought I would try it. I just installed it. I mostly use firefox but do use chrome, also. Since installing webroot and when I open chrome and try to access websites, sometimes it takes forever to open or won't open at all. I just tried to open my settings to delete my cache in chrome and it took forever to even get into those settings. Does anyone know if there is a configuration within Webroot program that I need to change to fix this issue?

I contacted Webroot tech support and addressed this issue with them and their response was that "Chrome works fine on computers with Webroot installed. If I am having issues with Chrome, it is likely a technical issue with chrome itself."

Their response is bs. Webroot doesn't want to admit there is a problem with Chrome when their program is installed on the same computer. Chrome worked fine and was working fine right before I installed Webroot. The chrome issue began immediately after I installed Webroot. I was always using Avast AV freeware program but a friend gave me a free Webroot subscription so I thought I was install it and give it a try. I guess I have to uninstall Webroot to fix my Chrome issue unless there is an alternative to fix the problem?
