[RESOLVED] hp printer not printing the very outside of a webiste document
my hp 2540 for years now has never printed the outside edge of a website document ( see example) .,
FullSizeRender.jpg
I have all the latest drivers and I always scan after new ink carts installed the printed template after you install bew cartridges the printer will print out a special template for you to scan.,.
as you can see on receipts etc always miss the out side edge .. but regular word documents from office are always fine . .it is the web site forms that are out of whack .. by a smidgen or two.
is it the website that I have to formulate or the printer??
please help
thanks

Many printers now a days have an option to adjust the "% of normal size."
Lowing the percentage 1 to 3 points will reduce the page.... But keep in mind this will affect everything you print.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Letter vs A4 is a common issue. Letter is wider than A4, so that might be the problem. Which paper size do you use?

This is a common issue with printing web pages, especially ones loaded with ads or other unnecessary data. Receipts for online purchases often encounter this problem. I usually print them to a .pdf printer like pdf995. Then, not only do I have an electronic copy saved, I don't waste paper or toner and, if this issue crops up, I can go back and reprint the page at 85% or 75% or 65% of normal size, and then get all of the data with nothing cut off.
