Any FREEWARE to convert aa Audible audiobooks to MP3/OGG/whatever
I bought several books on Audible. BUT their selection of what will play them is atrocious. Archaic. I have two Sony MP3 players, and a Cowon M2 - NONE of them are listed. Their tech support gave no help whatsoever. I won't spent £££ or $$$ on something I'll rarely use (they would play on my smartphone) but are there FREEWARE progs that'll do it ? The iTunes route didn't work, I just keep getting errors and demanding I get my PC recognized by Audible, and it doesn't work either.
Frustrated as hell

Tried Audible help and their response was essentially ask the makers of your MP3 (hardly small companies, Sony & Cowon) and not helping themselves
Tried everything with iTunes. Just won't do it. Constant errors. Even got a feller from Audible online and he did try to help but gave up ! He didn't know why either but mention converting to MP3, and no assistance at all for some reason

Have you tried running them on VLC instead of converting them? VLC plays just about anything and it's freeware.
