motherboard/cpu combination suggestions, please

Hello,

I haven't done a build in some time and would like to do another. I could use your suggestions on a motherboard/cpu combo. Here is my wish list:

I do NOT do any gaming. I do email, surf the net, watch a dvd, excel spreadsheets, quickbooks---multiple apps open.
I want the unit small--I'm thinking micro atx or micro itx
I want onboard video. I know AMD has the A series (A10/A8). Does Intel offer anything comparable?
Price is a factor. But I will spend a little more if I get a significant jump in performance.
I want it snappy/responsive. It will have an SSD and 8 gbs of ram.
I love Win 7, but how are people liking Win 10? I would use Linux but I really need to use Excel/Word/Access.

I have been doing a lot of research but would like to hear from if you have gone this way. Your thoughts would be appreciated,

If you like WIn 7, I would stay with that. The reports I have seen on QuickBooks compatibility with Win 10 are varied. Some users have not had any issues, while others have.

Regarding the onboard video - what monitor are you planning on using. Some newer Intel onboard graphics do not support VGA any longer.

Thank you for the links. I have a new Samsung wide screen with hdmi input so that won't be a problem.
