How's FF 42.0 working for you?
The last time I downloaded FF about a year ago, my computer went through fits and hiccups, freezes, etc. It just wasn't working for me. So I uninstalled.
Well there's a program I need to download and it works with FF. I'm using (testing) FF 42.0 now and hoping it's stable enough for this download.
Anybody experiencing problems with it? And how did you fix it?

42 seems fine for me. I had to disable the heartbeat f̶e̶a̶t̶u̶r̶e̶ annoyance again though.

Most of the time when I"ve had problems with a new version of FF it's because of add-ons that have not yet been updated for that version.

Since I don't want to be a beta tester for Mozilla, I installed 38 ESR. It is junk. It crashes every 5 minutes, sometimes more often. There are no add-ons installed. When I encounter a site that won't work on IE or Chrome, it is barely usable. Not recommended.

It's "jerky" and slow for me and it's been about 3 days. I was able to download the special software - the owner said it could only be used with FF and Chrome (bummer!). I'll probably just use it with that special software.

Here's the latest update info about using FF: I notice that when the screen stalls, it's when the CPU usage is 50% and higher. What makes the CPU usage go up so high? I don't get that with other browsers.
