Linux Lite 2.6 Final
Linux Lite 2.6 Final is now available for download.
https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/r...inal-released/
Made a bootable USB stick and used it in 3 different computers/laptops with not problems. It even kept all updates and bookmarks with no fuss.
Also it automatically mounts all hdds in the computer.
I like it!

LinuxLite 2.6 is also my go-to OS at the moment. I'm also multi-booting with Bodhi and Peppermint6

Stopped using Linux Lite a while back due to frequent data corruption during transfer from EXT4 (Linux) to NTFS partition/disks.
Dabbling with lubuntu LTS nowadays.
Cheers.

Gave a quick try of AntiX MX-14.4-non-pae in a HP Mini with a pitiful 1GB of RAM during the weekend.
Decided to scrap it since it had issues with low volume, stuttering video on Youtube, problem trying to install Google Chrome...
Currently testing out LXLE 32-bit now.
Cheers.

MX-14 is different from AntiX. Even though they are done by the same folks basically.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/anti...inal/MX-krete/
antiX-15-V_386-full.iso I know has been installed one a HP Mini.

Gave antiX-15-V_386-full a try. It was worse than the MX-14.4-non-pae.
Booted into a blank screen. Apparently poor support for some Intel integrated video is nothing new for some Linux distros. Could not even get into live without booting into Safe mode but lost video again after installing it into the HDD.
Back to LXLE.
Cheers.

Note, I am not recommending LXLE, just tolerating it since it is one of the few that actually runs on the HP Mini 1140NR series.
Cheers.

Understand, hate when that happens, but for me it has been the wireless adapters.
