Here are 2 screen shots as to what's there, i did not do a 3rd as i'd have to start the critical updates down load and it says is you are installing win 10, lets get started, no win 10 icon in the tray

Now in the photo it shows only the size of one update i selected,, not the total 2700 mb for win 10,, but what happens next usually says you are installing win 10

You did not get rid of
Open Command Prompt: start>run [type] cmd.exe ... open it. When the black CMD window opens [type] wusa /uninstall /KB:3035583 [enter] changing the KB number for each individual update. Do them one at a time. Note the "space" before each forward slash.
    wusa /uninstall /KB:3035583
    wusa /uninstall /KB:2952664
    wusa /uninstall /KB:3021917
    wusa /uninstall /KB:3022345

I did and made the Win 10 button disappear.

We need to start over and do things methodically.

Disconnect your computer from the internet.

Do the same system restore you did earlier.

Go into windows updates and turn them off.

Uninstall the updates we showed you above.

Set windows updates to inform you when they are available but NOT to download them.

Connect to the internet. When you see the updates that you just uninstalled appear hide them.

If and only if you see the windows 10 update offered hide that too although that should not be happening at this point.
    ------------------------------

Now that i have posted 2 screen shots, you see what's there, if i do as you are saying here, is that going to remove the win 10 from the critical updates as you see the screen shot up a couple posts? YOU NEED LOOK AT THAT SCREEN.
    ------------------------------------------------

I removed the 1 KB from the installed updates as told here, that did not resolve anything except took the icon off the tray.

Your disconnect and sys restore again is the one last step i have not done, unless i was supposed to do cmd prompt along with the windows update uninstall, but that did not seem the case,

If this doesn't work it's going to the shop,, it appears more problematic than one thinks

THE UPDATES HAVE BEEN OFF AS YOU CAN GET THEM, THERE IS NO SUCH OFF PERSE

    Don't believe everything you read.

Follow the instructions and hide the updates you no longer want to see.

Well of course it will. System Restore resets you system back to the date you select.

Might want to consider finding someone qualified there locally that can help you with the process. And once they get the GWX (get windows 10) problem resolved, ask them to create a new system restore point and delete all the earlier ones for you.

None of these exist on my system

Are you suppose to change these numbers to something else? It says change the numbers?

I seloected 1 critical update to download,, it showed the file size on the downlad page, hit "GET STARTED" which should be "DOWNLOAD UPDATES". and win 1o started to install.

Apparently this is locked in download mode, i've tried everything

Yuo. Once you locate the right section of updates, as there are more than one, the ones they don;t want you to see
