Windows Media home server HP Version

Hi to all,

First I hope I explain this correctly.

When I try to do a server recovery, I get my HP9400 tower with Win 7 32 bit to start the process, and we go thru a few screens, and the HP updates are installed, the Net frame is installed, than it goes for a little bit, than I get the error message of "Windows Home Server Initalization failed". Than this stops me.

I really would like to use this unit, but i'm at a loss.

1 500 GB drive (Main)
3 1TB drives Back ups

A morelengthy explanation of exactly what you are trying to do would be most useful. Are you trying to recover a Windows Home Server installation from a failed hard drive? Are you trying to restore one of the networked PCs files from a Windows Home Server backup?
