have managed to get 26 gig free on the HD

that seagate hd 1000 gig is tiny, Ill prob keep it plugged into the lap top.

I ve also noticed that playing movies and taking caps... is not as smooth as it should be

prob the processor is at its limits.

I find it easier to play movies on my old desktop ( with no internet input )

As you say, Ive got an old comp... an old processor ....

the more I think of it the more buying this looks like a mistake !

Now that with Antix installed would be a fine Linux machine.
I use a D630 with it installed.

I never keep USB hdd connected.
