Outllook 2007 will not "send" some messages -- they remain in "Outbox"
I sent an email to my daughter, to which she responded. When I responded to that, and clicked on "Send", the message went to the Outbox but was not sent. I clicked to close Outlook and the message came up that messages were in the outbox, so I canceled closing and clicked again on "Send and Receive", but the message in the Outbox was not sent. I right-clicked on the unsent message and clicked on "Forward", the message pane opened with my daughter's address shown in the "To" section and I clicked on "Send". This message went into the outbox for a second or so, then disappeared and was "Sent." The original unsent message was still there -- unsent. I just deleted it, for I had "sent" the information when I forwarded this. What is the issue that one message would not send and the same message, forwarded to the same address, went through? This will happen randomly a couple of times a month. Thanks for your suggestions.

Perhaps of help.

Also once a message is in the Outbox, do not open the message. That often creates a stuck message.

After looking into the link you sent, my difficulty is minimal!! Nothing for me to be concerned about. I will note, when it happens the next time, if the address in the "To" box has quotes around it. I have never had any difficulty deleting the message not sent, but some have. Thanks so much for your reply.
