Can't open Mozzila Firefox, instead get Yahoo.

Ok, I'm tired of messing with it here. I tried to resolve this by myself, but can't. I thought it was going to be easy, but it hasn't proved anything but a pain. I have no real problem with Yahoo since I use Yahoo to check my email, but I can't use MFF. I tried removing it then reinstalling, but it still goes to the Yahoo Browser upon opening. So this is why I am here hoping to get some tech advice on what to do next. Thanks for your help with this.

There is no Yahoo browser. There is a Firefox that is "optimized for Yahoo", which basically means it has Yahoo toolbar.
Where did you get your FF installer? If you got it from Yahoo, that would explain it.

You should get the installer from here:
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Uninstalling the Firefox application doesn't remove your profile. You can try resetting FF first.

If that doesn't work, then you should create a new profile.

Hmm. I thought the "Yahoo" version had it integrated.

It looks like the latest version has the Yahoo Toolbar and Yahoo Persona, but they are removable.

Midknyte and Train, Somehow I got it fixed yesterday. Yes I was wrong about Yahoo being a browser. It is a tool bar, but I wanted to use Mozzilla FF. All I remember is going to tools>Internet>General tab and typing in the address. I did something else too, but don't remember what it was. Anyway all is ok here now. Thanks for the help. If I have this trouble again I can return to this thread.
