WD Black Dual Drive2 Dual Drive Installation Issue
I have a relative who is trying to install the WD Black Dual Drive2 Dual Drive model WD1001X06XDTL on her laptop. Her laptop is only recognizing the 120GB SSD and not the 1TB hard drive. She downloaded the software drive for this product and it gave her an error code when she tried to install the driver. Does anyone have any suggestions on how she can install this drive so her laptop can recognize both the ssd and the hdd drive of this product?

Looks a bit more complicated than what we are use to.

What was the error code?
From the FAQ section of Train's link:
Why doesn’t the WD Black² Installation software detect my drive?
Please make sure the WD Black² drive is physically installed inside the computer and not connected via a USB connector.
Some PC system manufacturers ship their systems with the BIOS set to a RAID configuration. Please check that your SATA configuration is set to a non-RAID option, such as EIDE or AHCI
If the computer system uses an NVIDIA storage driver, it is not supported since the storage driver prevents the software from installing.
The ASMedia controller chipset is not supported.

Hi, Midknyte and Train. I appreciate the replies and help, as always. I am sorry that I didn't reply sooner. I have not heard or spoke to my relative regarding this issue. I suppose she was able to get her issue resolved somehow. If I hear anything I will let you know. Thanks again for the help.
