Boot menu should be F12
When it pops up use the arrow keys to navigate to the cd/dvd and hit enter key.
Should boot to the cd.
The method I use to boot cds/dvds/USD sticks with different OS's on them.
Now with only MSI motherboards it is F11

F1 F2 F12 they all go into BIOS but in lenovo MF bios there isnt any boot choice, as to priority to be changed to cd as opposed to HD or Floppy
there is not such a choice as with any other bios in the world.
and with the test you linked as per instructions, you need to start from cd for the cd to start and the test on it to run.

Click on Settings
Click on Change PC Settings
Click on General (now, general it doesnt exist)
Scroll to the bottom and click on Advanced Startup -> Restart Now

thankyou Spywaredr
but I went in the recovery before I could see your post and I saw
"reload W" since this is a new PC and I had just few docs doubled up in the onedrive cloud, also had some bad malaware I couldnt get rid I got a brand new reload, lot of work but after I did recovery I still had the malaware (virus?)
this time around I couldnt find Winstaller, I did it anyhow but that was easier.
thanks all

If that means the problem's been resolved, that's great.
