Saving bookmarks to reinstall them on a newly-purchased desktop

What should I do now, in preparing to retire an old DELL with xp, to make it easy to transfer my bookmarks? FWIW, the new PC will be a Windows 7 or 8 destop. Thanks. ...wdc

Here is how to do it with 4 browsers.

I always export as HTML, that way, I can import then to any browser i use.

For Firefox I like to use Mozbackup

    http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/

It optionally backs up/restores bookmarks, history, extensions, passwords, cache and more..

VirtualDr email notices are not working.

I save mine as HTML files which 1) works 2) shall work with any browser.

I also copy & save then to several locations on different HDs.
