    Damaged Sd Card

    Wasn't sure where to post this, sorry if it's in the wrong forum.
    I have an Huawei V8815 phone with a Verbatim 8gb card.
    A Toshiba notebook with Windows 7 Home Premium.
    My problem is the card is now damaged and I have a notification to reformat it. I don't know how to do this with my notebook.
    I cannot use the camera or view any photos on the phone. Can anyone help please.

    Get a USB adapter, if the laptop does not have a SD port that will accept it.
    Open my computer, insert the adapter/card, when recognized, R-click it and select format.
    Take the check out of quick format.
    Not format.
