How to ident my DELL LATITUDE E6410 info?
apparently there are various types of DELL laptops, with my "refurbished" LATITUDE E6410 being but one model.
The "refurbishment" is of questionable 'fact' due to several keys that do NOT work, plus the Win 7 OS kept posting something about an "illegal" or "unauthorized" Win 7 version.
I've a LEGAL version of Win 7 to replace the olde version but I want/need drivers for this laptop and DELL wants my "Service Tag" to provide the proper drivers. ( http://www.dell.com/support/Article/...9/SLN152128/EN )
This laptop functions (somewhat), but was NOT properly treated/handled and overheated requiring some prior service. Dell's website does NOT detail where I can find the Service Tag for my particular unit. Scratch my head? Beat on it? Cuss Michael Dell? Get drunk? What to do, what to do?

Newegg sez they are not responsible, because the actual seller is in NJ, not CA.
I contacted the source (?? New Tech ??) and got a "genuine" Win 7 (from MS' "refurbished" section), but no "drivers".
Thanks Jim

And this laptop needs 64 bit drivers for its video. It is functioning as we speak. Now to replace the broken/"refurbished" keyboard.
