    Resolved [RESOLVED] CAT 5 cable question

    Is an inline coupler for Cat 5 cable recommended to join two internet cat 5 cables? As usual TIA

    About 36 feet. To use the short cable I have been using, I would need to buy about 25 feet and join them together. Probably not worth the extra cost is my present thinking. I may have jumped the gun while posting my question but I do thank you for your quick response.

    Ok. That's fine. Anyway, 36ft should not be a problem with a coupler.

    Your answer is just fine and at least I can think about joining the two cables.
