Lost Network Credentials
I recently had to Refresh my laptop computer running win 8.1 and somehow it erased all my network connections to my desktop computer. It wants to know my network credentials, i.e. username and password. Any ideas on how I can retrieve this information?

You refreshed your laptop and the desktop lost connection? That's pretty strange. One should not affect the other.
What kind of network credentials are you talking about? How is your desktop connected to the network/Internet?
If it's a wireless connection and you don't know the network name and password, I can only suggest that you reset the wireless router and redo your security settings. It's against the AUP to post about password tools.

A Refresh will remove your previous network settings on the computer that was refreshed. You will have to re-enter the information to reconnect unless you have an image backup available that has the previous settings and is one that you would want to restore.
