How do I fix "Printer is not Responding"
Hi. I'm trying to print a document with some images on it in Microsoft Publisher and I keep getting the "Not Responding" message, and then Publisher decides to close. The strange thing is I just printed something prior to that and all was well. I uninstalled Publisher and reinstalled it. My laptop is connected to 2 printers, neither of which will print now as the "Printer Is Not Responding" messages comes up. Any suggestions?

Uninstalling and reinstalling Publisher should not have had any effect.
Did you try rebooting the computer?
Did you try printing something from Notepad to either of the printers?
Did you look at the printer Queue Status to see if any jobs were stuck there?
Did you power the printers off and then back on?

Uninstall the printers, reboot and reinstall.
If you do not reboot between the uninstall and reinstall you end up with one HUGE hair pulling mess.

All is well. Uninstalled the printers, rebooted and reinstalled, and both printers seem to be working just fine. thank you for your help!

When printer drivers get corrupted, that is the easy fix.
