sony vaio win 7 64 bit
Hi.. I have run into an issue. I accidentally uninstalled my AMD graphics software and drivers and everything is back to working fine but..My AMD graphics card is missing a driver. I went to AMD site and d/led the auto detect utility. According to the utility, all my drivers are there. Yet. When i reboot, i get an error stating that my amd graphics card is missing a driver. Also. When i go into my "AMD catalyst control center" it can not start and tells me "There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD catalyst control center"
Thanks .Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to do a system restore to a date before you uninstalled the graphics drivers?
VirtualDr email notices are not working.

If that doesn't work, post the exact model number of the system from the case sticker.

Do the restore again and this time set updates to notify you first before they install automatically. It sounds like it may be installing a new Microsoft supplied graphics driver which isn't working so well. You can manually choose to not install it and also hide it so it won't appear again.

So now my question is which updates can i install? According to my computer there are 21 updates ,3 of which are optional.
Thanks

If you click to highlight each of the 3 optional updates, you should be able to see what they are. You do not want any driver updates.

All updates are "optional". The "Important" updates are security updates. They should not affect the video drivers. You can install them one at a time to see if they have any unwanted effect, and remove them if they do.
