How to delete Windows Temp files with a vbs script.

I don't know how to make vbs scripts, but is there away to make one to remove the c:\windows\temp files in Windows 7? Thanks, Carole

Hey jdc2000, I tried creating the script from your first link this afternoon, and I copied and pasted it in notepad and saved it deletewindows.vbs, but when I clicked on it, it just opened up to notepad again. did I do something wrong? I am so new at scripting. I copied and pasted the whole script too. Did I do something wrong. I don't care about user profile's temporary internet files, just C:\windows\temp files. Thanks..

dneilson, I have to do this on 68 computers, so I just wanted to put the vbs script on the network share drive and then pull it to the desktop and run it. I know how to do it windows way...

A batch file is just a text file with a .bat extension that contains the commands you would type at a Command Prompt.
